Using ECOplugs App:

Set up the account with using the ECOPlugs app.

If your router is a “Mesh” router it may not be compatible to the product.

USES BAND WIDTH: 2.4GHz Band width if 5.0 or higher will not connect. You may be able to temporarily disable the higher bandwidth to set up the product.

If the WiOn device is the gray Smart Box—the above applies as well as the resetting instructions below.

With Setting Up WiOn -  Please follow these steps to properly set up your Wion Device. (Hardwire)

1. Press and HOLD the power button while someone turns the breaker off to the switch.

2. Leave the switch off for about 5 seconds.

3. Make sure to still HOLD the power button down before you turn the breaker back on.

4. Once the power is restored and the blue light stops flashing entirely you can release the power button.

With the WiOn device hard-wired or plugged in, the process to add a WiOn device is:

Be within 3 ft of your router for initial setup.

Also, you need to look in your phone settings in data usage – allow permission for WiOn app to use data.

USES BAND WIDTH: 2.4GHz Band width if 5.0 or higher will not connect.

Check your router settings, try resetting your router. If your router has dual bandwidth then you will need to disable the higher.

1. Go into your phone's SETTINGS

2. Then WI-FI settings

3. Look for a new network named ECO### and connect to it

4. NEXT STEP: (this is when you open ECO Plugs app)

(Note: if it does not find the router then hit the + button on your WiOn app to add your router)

Follow the on-screen directions to add your country, zip code/area code and Wi-Fi password, your phone will then attach that WiOn device to your local network, the new device will now be listed on the main screen of the app and ready to use

If your device is flashing, that means is has not synced with a local network. You can try one of few solutions:

Delete the WiOn app and reinstall. NOTE: iPhone users must go to app store to install new app not the app that is stored on the Cloud.

Then once it is reinstalled go into your iPhone settings (not the WiOn app settings), go to Wi-Fi and see if a new network called “ECO” followed by a series of numbers appears. If it does, connect to that network and follow the onscreen instructions.

More tips on the video below:

The Short Extension Cable comes in a female to female configuration that is 20” long and with screw connectors. The Long Extension Cable comes in a female to male connection that is 40” long.

The short extension cables are perfect for connecting two mats at a 90 degree angle where two female ends line up against each other and need to be connected in that direction. While the longer cables can extend the distance between two mats on a line.

Sealed and waterproofed in molded virgin rubber, the watertight extension connectors ensure a safe and secure connections between all your heated mats, allowing power to flow through from one to the next.

TUV Rheinland approved

Specially designed to work with mats that melt snow and ice, on contact in both a residential or commercial application.
